This interactive, immersive AI installation is a work created by the collective Shanghai Interactive. The work is a commentary on Western philosophy frames truth as a singular source (sunlight, god, etc) grasped by individuals and misled by shadows. Reframing Plato’s cave through non-Western, relational thought, where meaning emerges between human and non-human agents, AI becomes both the fire and a participant, co-forming shifting shadows in a shared transcultural ecology of perception.
